One of only 71 pre-Revolutionary homes still standing in Charleston, 43 Tradd radiates history from the inside out. This double tenement brick home was built in 1772 by Jonathan Badger, a cabinet maker, and is one of the most well preserved exposed brick buildings from the 1700s on the peninsula. With a traditional layout, the grand foyer entrance has a center staircase and individual wallpaper panels up to the 3rd floor. The formal living room is located to the left & is centered around one of the eight fireplaces in this home. The dining room is grand and spacious with oversized windows and abundant room for entertaining. The hyphen connects the main house to the original kitchen house and currently functions as a butler's pantry with access to the garden.
